Bad Dieting Advice from a Bro
I got an interesting text the other day from a friend asking me ‘if the diet plan she received from her trainer was normal?’ Weird, but I took a look, and it’s a good thing I did. This meal plan is something similar to what a bikini competitor might be on, but much worse. These bro diets got to go, and we have to learn not to follow bad dieting advice from a bro or anyone who isn’t an expert.
Some Bro Notes:
- Space out meals 2.5 to 3 hours
- Eat six small meals
- Times to start and stop drinking water
- A long list of supplements
- Foods on there she doesn’t even like
When she sent me her meal/diet plan, she thought it was 1100 calories which is very low. After putting the diet into MyFitnessPal and checking it 20 million times, it turns out it was lower than that! My friend just had a baby three months prior, and this wouldn’t be safe for her. Plus, her goals are wanting to tone up and lose some pounds from her newborn, not compete.
There’s a lot of good looking transformation pictures out on the internet, but always do your research and interview the person you want to hire. Also, consult your physician or healthcare provider when you’re going to start a diet or exercise regimen to be on the safe side.
